Dezeen Showroom: a series of patterned rugs handmade in Nepal from natural fibres is among 17 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.

Rugs by Kristiina Lassus

Interior architect and designer Kristiina Lassus has created a range of rugs for her eponymous design brand that are handmade by artisans in Nepal.

The collection is defined by the rugs' neutral colours and characteristic patterns. They are all unique thanks to their hand crafted nature and are made from silk, bamboo silk, hemp, Tibetan wool and linen.

The rugs were recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a black bath tub made from carbon fibre and a collection of lighting informed by fungi.

Vivere freestanding bath by Wayne Spriggs for Lusso

Designer Wayne Spriggs created a bath tub for his company Lusso that is made from carbon fibre.

Vivere has a gently rounded profile and is lighter than conventional baths thanks to its material makeup. It has a dramatic dark colour and is scratch resistant, according to the company.

Symbioosa lighting by LLEV for Lasvit

Czech brand Lasvit has released a lighting collection informed by the dome-like shape of mushrooms.

Symbioosa comes in floor and table variations, which both have a glass shade made by blowing molten glass into moulds made from mycelium fungus, giving them a distinctive pattern.

French designer Jean-Marie Massaud worked with Vondom on a collection of outdoor furniture that takes cues from Mediterranean landscapes.

Milos contains seating and tables of varying sizes and formats that all share soft, rounded compositions, intended for use on terraces and in gardens.

Australian designer Ross Gardam has created a collection of lamps that have a weightless, celestial appearance.

The table and pendant lamps in the Méne range are made from mouth-blown glass and come in clear, frosted clear, black or frosted black finishes.

Italian brand Porro collaborated with design studio GamFratesi on an updated version of the Romby chair, which now has a "blossoming" seat.

The chair is perched on a tripod-style wooden base and is suitable for both residential and public environments.

Indian lighting brand Naaya Studio has designed a range of pendant lights made from clay that come in a selection of soft shapes called Dome, Orbic-infinity, Morning bell and Farmhouse.

The pendant lights are all handcrafted and are created for use in living, kitchen and dining areas.

BOB Corner by Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius for Blå Station

In collaboration with designers Thomas Bernstrand and Stefan Borselius, Swedish furniture brand Blå Station has released a corner unit for use in tandem with its existing BOB sofa components.

BOB Corner is formed of a square seat with optional backrest attachments, which can be upholstered in a selection of colours and fabrics to match existing components or to create patterns of coloured segments.

Vondom teamed up with architect Ramón Esteve on a series of outdoor seating that takes cues from the high-end aesthetic of New York holiday homes.

The Hamptons range includes a sofa and lounge chair that have fabric details reminiscent of hammocks, as well as a matching ottoman and coffee table.

Bathroom company Bette has launched a washbasin developed in collaboration with German studio Tesseraux & Partner that is made from glazed titanium steel as opposed to ceramic.

BetteBalance comes in both above and below-counter installation formats in a spectrum of glossy finishes that includes neutral colourways and gentle pastels.

Furniture company De Vorm has released an oversized acoustic lampshade designed to be suspended above seating zones and work areas to dampen noise.

The Fost Large acoustic lamp has a 118-centimetre-diametre domed profile with ridged detailing and comes in 11 different colourways made from recycled PET felt.

Lademadera outdoor collection by Francesco Meda and David Quincoces for Gandia Blasco

Designers Francesco Meda and David Quincoces created a series of outdoor furniture in collaboration with Spanish brand Gandia Blasco made from teak wood.

The timber used in the Lademadera range is sourced from Java, Indonesia, and was chosen as it naturally weathers to a silvery grey finish over time when exposed to the elements.
