Renzo Piano has designed Parco della Luce, a green public space within Monte Rosa 91 in Milan, Italy.

Monte Rosa 91 in Milan, originally designed in 2003 by Renzo Piano Building Workshop as Il Sole 24 Ore's headquarters, has been reimagined by RPBW into a vibrant urban campus that combines art, nature and architecture as part of a sustainable urban redevelopment.

Commissioned by AXA IM Alts, the renovation enhances the building's environmental, technological and organisational standards.

The redevelopment introduces multifunctional spaces, including offices for multiple tenants, public areas and the 10,000 square-metre Parco della Luce.

This green oasis features site-specific contemporary art installations, fostering a harmonious blend of nature, art and architecture.

This project has been longlisted in the landscape and urban design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
