Gitta Gschwendtner has designed the 3D interpretations at the Urban Nature Project, embedding narratives and interactive installations for the Natural History Museum's transformed gardens.

The transformed gardens at the Natural History Museum tell the story of evolution on our planet. Gitta Gschwendtner has worked closely with the museum and the design team to give shape to a myriad of fascinating stories set within the new gardens.

The Evolution Garden explores deep time and the beginning of life on Earth. Gitta's interventions encourage visitors to see this changing world through installations and embedded narratives.

The museum's Nature Discovery Garden, supported by The Cadogan Charity, explores urban nature and biodiversity, where Gitta's installations alert visitors to the wonders of nature often easily missed.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
