The American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) – in collaboration with design studio Mitre & Mondays and furniture brand Benchmark – returns to 3 Days of Design as part of group exhibition Material Matters.

The immersive exhibition explores the life cycle of American hardwoods, from forest to product, in five stages: growth, stewardship, selection, resilience and timber.

The display encapsulates installations, educational panels and audio-visual storytelling into an exploration highlighting responsible forestry and sustainability.

Wood for the Trees takes place from 10 to 12 June 2026 at Material Matters, Ukraine House, Gammel Dok, Strandgade 27B, 1401 Copenhagen, Denmark.
