Elephant Vision Lab presents Known Terrain – two exhibitions containing works aiming to explore people's lived experiences of their surroundings.

Known Terrain's first show explores how we become familiar with places, systems and relationships become familiar over the course of time, with works exploring the shifting of perspectives, everyday encounters and the landscapes we live in day-to-day.

The second show examines how cultural systems, rituals and identities are shaped through encounters with technology, including artificial intelligence, and how these factors change how we understand ourselves, one another and the worlds we inhabit.

Known Terrain takes place from 12 to 20 September 2026 at ANNEX By The Koppel Project – 1 Tiverton St, Elephant and Castle, London, SE1 6NT.
