Dezeen Showroom: surfaces brand VitrA Tiles has developed two innovations to meet evolving architectural expectations: V-Tone for colour consistency and V-Flex for easy, adhesive-free installation.

The company's V-Flex system provides a quick and simple installation option for projects that seek efficiency, the flexibility to make changes over time, or to preserve the existing floor.

The system uses Välinge’s Ceraloc locking technology, with tongue-and-groove edges that allow tiles to slot into place, enabling precise alignment and even grout lines with reduced drying time.

The installation method provides good acoustic performance and is recommended by VitrA Tiles for settings including retail, showrooms, offices, hotels, education facilities and commercial spaces.

The V-Tone innovation, meanwhile, is applied by VitrA Tiles during the production process to digitally optimise tone management rather than leave it to manual control.

The brand says that the innovation preserves colour consistency across different production and installation stages, allowing designs to be realised in the space exactly as planned.
