Zuczug Bazaar

Sò Studio has designed the Zuczug Bazaar in Xiamen, China.

Inspired by the local free market, the Zuczug Bazaar not only serves as an extension of this concept but also presents a different possibility for a fashion collection store as a public space: free, open and diverse.

"The Zuczug Bazaar is a market, the original comprehensive shopping place in human society," told Sò Studio. "A wide variety of products are scattered at various stalls, open to everyone equally."

As a collection store that accommodates a variety of styles, Zuczug Bazaar includes clothing for daily wear, as well as brands for outdoor sports.

From the unique welcome message at the entrance to the green mosaic walls distributed in the An Ko Rau area, the bazaar's bespoke design echoes throughout the space.

This project has been shortlisted in the retail interior category of Dezeen Awards China 2023.
