In this course, students will focus on the conception, design and development of products, clothing, equipment and services that deliver enhanced performance benefits.

The MA Design for Performance Sports is a 12-month course for fashion designers and product designers who are committed to thinking differently about the wider ethical implications of product development and performance opportunities in sports.

Working between the sports, leisure and health and wellbeing sectors, our course is an industry focussed multi-disciplinary programme developing specialist skills and knowledge in a collaborative studio environment.

Innovation with materials and technology is grounded in an understanding of physiological, psychological and ergonomic factors.

With an emphasis on individual practice grounded in research, students are supported by a diverse team of academics and industry specialists to develop their personal research and expand their professional and creative aspirations.
