This exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York examines the intersections between architecture, blackness and anti-black racism in the United States.

It investigates contemporary architecture in the context of how systemic racism has promoted violent histories of injustice and discrimination in America and aims to explore "how people have mobilised black cultural spaces, forms, and practices as sites of imagination, liberation, resistance and refusal."

Reconstructions: Architecture and Blackness in America takes place from 20 February to 31 May 2021 at The Museum of Modern Art, 11 W 53rd St, New York, NY 10019, United States.
