An exhibition at the Scottish Parliament explores how late Spanish architect Enric Miralles designed and built the building.

Miralles' practice EMBT, which was founded with his partner Benedetta Tagliabue, won the competition to design the parliament building in 1998, in collaboration with Edinburgh-based studio RMJM.

While displaying concept images, sketches, photography, site studies and competition boards, the exhibition also focuses on how EMBT continues to honour Miralles' legacy.

Enric Miralles: Creating The Scottish Parliament, and other stories by Benedetta Tagliabue and EMBT takes place from 31 July to 30 October 2025 at the Scottish Parliament Building, Horse Wynd, Edinburgh EH99 1SP, UK.
