Dezeen has collaborated with technology company HP to host a talk at Barcelona's Vasto gallery exploring how technology can bridge the gap between the digital and physical elements of architecture and design.

Moderated by Dezeen's features editor Nat Barker, the discussion welcomes the co-founder of Mendoza Partida, Mara Partida; senior partner and head of technology at Foster + Partners, Nadeem Mir; and AEC solutions business director at HP, Xavi Juarez.

The talk outlines the current challenges architects and designers face when seeking to maintain design intent throughout increasingly complex design and construction processes, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in the industry.
