Dezeen x Philips TV & Sound

Dezeen x Philips TV & Sound is a series of talks inviting designers from different disciplines to explore the cutting edge of product design.

In the third instalment of the series, representatives from Kvadrat, Bowers & Wilkins and Philips TV & Sound explained how they designed the Philips OLED+986 and 936 TVs in a live design case study.

Philips TV & Sound was represented on the panel by its chief design officer Rod White. Stine Find Osther, vice president of design at Danish textile brand Kvadrat, also appeared on the panel alongside Andy Kerr, director of product marketing at British audio brand Bowers & Wilkins.

The collaboration launched with a talk in which Philips TV & Sound‘s chief design officer Rod White, Scottish architect Mary Arnold Forster and Mormedi founder and CEO Jaime Moreno discussed what European design means to them and their practices.

In the second talk in the series, a panel of leading women in product design including Philips TV & Sound’s Lisa Grahner, Pernilla Johansson of Electrolux, and design and branding consultant Joerka Koenders discussed their experiences of working in the field.
