J Mayer H Architekten have sent us an image of Home.Haus, a design for a children’s home near a forest in Germany.

Home.Haus, Hamburg-Bergedorf, Germany
Located near the edge of the forest in Hamburg-Bergedorf, a new 4-story-residential building will become the home for children and adolescents. The characteristics of the building are based on a two colour relief facade embracing a compact house volume. A central staircase and hallway offers the opportunity to open up the strict division between floors in order to create a communal space for communication.
