Gorgeous! It’s nice to see what makes Coop Himmelb[l]au a name to remember (which for us Americans is an especially difficult thing to do).

Lots of beautiful details, great material choices, and a real sense of fitting within the technological ideology of the BMW brand. After the somewhat unimpressive Akron Art Museum, it’s great to see such a large scale work turn out so well.

Since working so long with different 3D software has had great impact on my lifestyle, I actually love the way the architecture pays tribute to world of triangulated meshes and isoline curves.

Horrible, not only a waste of money, but also bad architecture of an easy idea

  12. Nicanor Wong Says:

It´s interesting how much the use of softwares for create meshes can make that kind of buildings where the useful or meaning or scale are not important as the curious form it could be.

i think thats very coop himelblau,,

    pyramid, or cylindrical cone form,,,,

the buildings is form metamorphosis from BMW philosophy,,

propeller,, on working, suck of the sky, as a kind of tornado

i interested, that should be architecture, not just buildings,
but also, how to explain building identity,
