Mr. Sottsass’s groundbreaking work was responsible for my interest in interiors.
A sad day for the design community… but, he won’t be forgotten.

This is so sad. he was and still is a hero to me. i never tire of reading and looking at his genius works to the point where it hurts my head as i am simply not intelligent enough. Ciao Ettore.

So sad. I seen him give a talk in Glasgow in 1999, He was such a charismatic figure, so laid back, he effortly answered every question with so much clarity and intellect and humour! when asked “so, Whats your style?” he said “I`m a maximillist!”
Long live he spirit of maximillism and Ettore Sottsass!!
