Future Makers: special call out for designers

Dezeen is launching a new collaboration with Autodesk called Future Makers, which will profile upcoming designers who are harnessing new digital tools to pioneer the future of making things. If you have a compelling story to tell about your work, we want to hear from you!

Future Makers will be a series of movies focusing on designers in the UK and Europe who are using software and advanced manufacturing technology to get products to market in new ways. We are looking for innovative individuals or studios with interesting stories about how they use digital tools in their work processes to take part.

If you would like to be featured in the project, please send an email to [email protected] by 3 June with a short description of why you think you would be suitable, together with some images of your best work. If selected, we will visit your studio to film a video interview and edit this down into a short movie to be published on Dezeen.

Participants must be based in Europe and must use at least one Autodesk product — such as AutoCAD, Maya, 3ds Max, SketchbookFusion360 or any other Autodesk software.

The deadline for submissions is 3 June 2015. Interviews with the selected designers will be conducted between June and September 2015.
