With 50 days to go until entries close we have just received our 1000th entry for Dezeen Awards, making it one of the biggest design awards on the planet.

Entries have come from 56 different countries on six continents, with projects from places including Colombia, Mexico, Montenegro, Papa New Guinea, South Africa and Vietnam.

Over 1,000 entries from 86 countries

Entries have been pouring in from studios of all sizes, from young designers who have just started out to household-name global brands.

All have an equal chance of success since our low entry prices are designed to make Dezeen Awards accessible to everyone. Meanwhile our jury of 75 leading figures from the design world has been briefed to look out for brilliant design rather than famous names.

There a total of 30 categories spanning architecture, interiors and design, meaning that Dezeen Awards will be a comprehensive annual survey of the best work across the major fields of 3D design.
