2 days left to enter Dezeen Awards 2019

There are only two days left to enter Dezeen Awards 2019

With just two days to go until entries close for Dezeen Awards 2019, we've put together a handy guide to what happens after you hit submit on your entry:

Longlisting

After entries close on 30 May at 23:59 BST the first stage of the judging process, or longlisting, will begin. This will go on for the entire month of June.

All entries will be reviewed by the Dezeen editorial team, assisted by architecture and design experts, who will use their skill and knowledge to select around 25 entries in each category.

We'll be in touch with you in July to let you know whether you've made it onto the longlist.

Shortlisting

The shortlisting stage of the judging process will take place in July and will involve our star-studded panel of 75 judges including Virgil Abloh, Sevil Peach, Tom Dixon and Odile Decq.

Judges will select a shortlist of between four and eight entries in each project category. Each member of the jury will judge around 50 projects across two project categories. This will be done remotely, with each juror scoring entries using an online scoring system.

We'll be in touch in September to let you know if you've been shortlisted.

Master jury day

Around 15 judges will be selected from the original jury to form a master jury.

They will gather in London to convene and ratify the suggested project category winners. They will also select overall winners in the architecture, interiors and design project categories.

Shortlist party

We'll be throwing a party to celebrate the shortlisted projects, products and studios vying for accolades in the second edition of Dezeen's awards programme.

More details to come closer to the date. If you haven't already, subscribe to our newsletter to receive the latest news about Dezeen Awards.

Winners party

Winners will be announced online in late October or early November. There'll be a winners party held in London, to celebrate and network with other industry professionals.

We even won an award for our last awards ceremony, so we know how to throw a good party!
