Tube-shaped legs and a slab-like seat in solid ash, walnut or oak comprise this stocky chair by architect and designer Leonardo Rossano for Italian brand True Design.
The Adinne chair's timber materiality is complemented by a stiff leather strap that acts as a backrest stretched between the rear uprights.

Contemporary Room Dividing Screens by Fold Studio
A trio of interconnected wooden frames, secured with raw brass hinges, create the structure for these three-panelled screens.
Created by Australian design brand Fold Studio, users can select either rattan or fabric panels and ash, walnut or oak for the frames.

Copenhagen-based interior design studio Vermland's modular kitchens are handmade in Denmark and made out of solid oak.
The cabinetry's warm-toned wooden materiality, minimal Scandi aesthetic and high-quality hardware were chosen with the intention of creating a timeless piece.

Theo folding chair by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana for Plank
Italian architect Matteo Thun and designer Benedetto Fasciana worked together to create a minimalist wooden folding chair for Italian furniture brand Plank.
The Theo folding chair is made from a combination of plywood and oak veneer, which can be painted in a number of colours.
Adilo pendant lamp by Ilkka Kauppinen for Secto Design
Designer Ilkka Kauppinen designed the sculptural Adilo pendant lamp with a birch plywood structure – available in two sizes – that fans out from flat.
Created for Finnish brand Secto Design, the lamp is made in Heinola, Finland, using responsibly sourced wood certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.
A slab of ash wood gently turned in at each end forms the headboard of this bed by Italian furniture brand Bolzan.
The Nest bed's frame is also made from solid ash, with the entire structure available in an array of neutral finishes.
Japanese architecture studio and furniture maker Mililab has created a chunky stool made from American oak.
The Ishi stool's top can be used as a flat surface or an upholstered seat, depending on which way up it is turned.
British kitchen brand Inglis Hall's Rift bench serves as a versatile multipurpose seat, owing to its sturdy oaken materiality and minimalist, refined appearance.
The brand envisages it to be used in dining spaces, kitchens, boot rooms and entryways. For added comfort, it can be fitted with a seat pad made from Old English Bruciato leather.
