Wick Architecture and Design has teamed up with Land Design Studio to create an L-shaped coffee shop for Stereoscope.

The tall and narrow space allowed for a unique design opportunity. The space references Italian masterpieces such as Correggio's Assumption of the Virgin in Parma.

Nashville-based artist and photographer Christy Lee Rodgers' The Reunion of Cathryn Carrie and Jean was translated into a 3D art piece and was placed on the ceiling and graduated to white as it flows down the walls.

The art is viewed by donning retro 3D glasses that line the white oak shelves.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
