Designed by Heliograf, Light Soy is a glass lamp inspired by soy-sauce packets shaped like fish, found in sushi shops around the world.
The light is conceived as a statement to the single-use nature of the soy sauce packets, by designing the lamp in a way that can be treasured.
Using premium materials with longevity, designing for disassembly, repair and modularity, Light Soy is designed to last for years, and to highlight the issues surrounding single-use plastic.
This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
