G's Academy Fukuoka is a mixed-use facility combining a programming school and a co-working space for engineers and designers.

The facility comprises two floors respectively accommodating programming school G's Academy Fukuoka and G's Base Fukuoka, a co-working space where engineers, entrepreneurs and designers can further concentrate on manufacturing.

Situated in Fukuoka, the narrow and long townhouse-like space with high ceilings has a distinct atmosphere.

Nomoto Sekkei converted the first and second floors of the six-storey commercial building to create a communal space filled with light on the first floor and individual spaces shared by coworkers on the second.

This project has been longlisted in the civic and cultural interior project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
