Veer
by Aliki Van der Kruijs and Wolf-Gordon

James Shanks Photography

Wolf-Gordon has collaborated with Dutch designer Aliki Van der Kruijs for an upholstery collection.

Veer investigates structure and form through a grid motif found on an antique kimono textile.

The dialectic process between 2D and 3D used when Van der Kruijs wrapped the grid around her own ceramics, as well as an exploration of the environment, led the designer to imbue Veer with a sophistication and richness that will elevate the built environment.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
