Puddle Sound #001 Tokyo
by Puddle

Takumi Ota

Puddle has designed a vacuum tube amplifier with the aim to connect people and places.

The glass is bonded using fine laser processing. The copper heat sink is processed into a mortar shape, and the plastering is textured with rough and uniform cracks.

The acrylic is dyed with black gradations and a difficult tapping processing was applied to it.

Not only the materials, but also the sound technology inside, are very delicate. By dividing areas according to the role of each part, noise is eliminated and the load is reduced, making it possible to use the product for a long time.

This project has been longlisted in the product design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
