Artefatto Design Studio has created The Lost Place as a virtual reality exhibition to launch its new design collective.

The studio has seen the recent outbreak of Covid-19 not as a set back but as an opportunity to change the way things are done. With large gatherings unable to take place and therefore exhibitions not recommencing very soon, the firm looked at other viable solutions to this strange situation.

As a result, the studio has created a virtual reality exhibition, allowing the designers to get the exposure they rely on, and giving visitors the potential to get their dose of design from the safety of their homes.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
