The building process of Red Pavilion, spatially functioning as a complementary element of Light of the Internet Expo Center in Wuzhen, focuses on the feasibility of implementing 3D printed formwork for thin shell structures to enable an Eco-friendly and high efficient construction process.

Not only an experimental project which intends to approve the new procedure in architecture by implementing digital tectonics, but more significantly, it serves as a practice that implies the philosophy of "non-local locality", which demonstrates a solution solve process with novel achievements of technology into multi-scenarios of local culture and traditions.


This project has been longlisted in the small building category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
