Modern hair and beauty salon Goodbody recently opened its doors as part of a larger retail and dining revival in the heart of downtown Oakland, California.

The double-height space occupies the site of a former office cluster. Overhauled by San Francisco-based architectural practice Homework, the interior is wrapped in muted salmon hues and evokes a feminine aesthetic.

This project has been longlisted in the leisure and wellness interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
