The event was appointed in 2015 to manage the master plan, exhibition design and complete fit-out of The Box, Plymouth, a new cultural destination that aims to share the history of the South West with the world.

The project was borne from a need to safeguard the city's six valued collections and communicate their power. The vision was to create a new hub for art, culture, learning and leisure in the city. With new active and engaging galleries, welcoming social and community facilities, The Box is a benchmark facility that puts the people of Plymouth and the South West at its heart.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
