Line+ has created a lifestyle solution in China in a setting that simulates the benefits of nature with clever use of design and geometry.

Slab Hill Lifestyle Lab is a new architectural prototype that utilises a unique building shape to allows people to experience the feeling of being in a forest.

The design of a cluster of umbrella-shaped modules is inspired by natural fractal geometry, in which the tiniest elements cluster and expand into intricate structures.

The structure is designed to develop and extend in the same way that a live organism would if it were subjected to the natural rules, reacting to the superposition of human demands, such as circulation, planting design, and spatial functions.

This project has been longlisted in the hospitality building category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
