Artin Light has created a lighting scheme for a building in Manchester with a focus on wellness.

As a building created with a focus on work-life-balance and productivity, Bloc employs biophilic design as key to its wellness strategy.

Artin designed and developed a dynamic feature lighting installation to the vast living green wall façade wrapped around the existing entrance on the two main elevations.

The conceptual designs combine the technology of dynamic light with the living green wall to create a digital canvas of light, completely changing the dynamic of the green wall and the appearance of the building from day to night. The result sees the combination of light art with the living green wall structure create a seamless synergy between technology and living organisms.

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
