Longlisted for Dezeen Awards 2022 design studio of the year, Design Incubation Centre is a Singapore-based design studio.

Design Incubation Centre (DIC) is part of the Division of Industrial Design (DID) at the National University of Singapore.

With the main mission to incubate ideas and projects, DIC supports undergraduates and graduates from NUS-DID to develop their projects until production and commercialisation, or for commercial licensing.

By also participating in research, probe projects and academic programmes, DIC contributes to identify new industrial, social, and cultural territories where design will grow in the coming decades.

Through academic and professional collaborations as a public design studio, DIC promotes the role of design in those organisations as a keystone of human-centred innovation.

This project has been longlisted in the design studio of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
