AtMa has designed Maison Special in Osaka, Japan.

This project is the latest and largest shop of the Maison Special brand in the Kansai region of Japan.

By deconstructing and reinterpreting Maison Special's brand concept of "Special is your standard", the interior concept of the space was created to question the ordinary daily life that we take for granted.

In essence, design studio AtMa wanted to turn the ordinary and the extraordinary upside down, and allow us to see the extraordinary (special) in our ordinary (standard) daily lives.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable interior category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
