Arquitecturia has refurbished the House in Sant Pere de Ribes, France.

"This was a place that had already been inhabited and what was left of it was beautiful. Even more beautiful than before, it was abandoned," said Arquitecturia.

The house's abandonment and the loss of its meaning and function turned the architecture into a landscape perfectly embedded in its surroundings.

As a result, the place is inhabited by occupying the ruin and extending a series of intimate and intertwined spaces and gardens.

This project has been longlisted in the house extension category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
