Line+ has completed the renovation of Dingzha Village, near Shanghai.

Situated on China's southern coast, Dingzha Village is a typical watertown in the Jiangnan Region.

The studio was tasked with the adaptive reuse of historic structures, including a tower silo, a four-storey granary and two grain warehouses.

After obsolete buildings were removed from the site, the studio transformed the warehouses into new workplaces. Meanwhile, five experiential spaces were established in the granary comprising a hall, courtyard, stage, path, and pavilion.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
