FWS_Work has designed House FC in Taipei City, Taiwan.

In this project, FWS_Work creates a tranquil and inspiring home and studio environment for an artist in a small apartment in Taipei City.

"[A home] where every step, every moment, and every scene is infused with poetic essence," said FWS_Work.

By maximising the high-ceiling open area with ample windows, the interiors are filled with natural light.

Various openings were strategically placed in walls, not only opening up the narrow staircase and bedroom but also capturing intriguing views.

Rattan folding doors replaced solid walls in the tea room allowing for the permeation of light and shadows – while letting the tea room glow as a stage during the night.

This project has been longlisted in the home interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
