Muuto has created the Piton Portable Lamp.
Piton is an untraditional take on the battery-powered portable lamp, playfully referencing the archetypal flashlight.
Refined anodised extruded aluminium enhances its elegant form and distinct functionality inspired by tools used for mountain climbing.
"It is a versatile ambient light...that can be used lying, standing, tilting on a shelf or suspended, depending on the space or spot you want to illuminate, effortlessly moving between indoors and outdoors," said Muuto.
This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
