Lightning Studio has designed the lighting for Moxy Downtown Los Angeles.

The new Moxy in downtown Los Angeles sits within the same building as the AC hotel as its complementary counterpart.

A dimly lit atmosphere focuses on the rawness of the space juxtaposed with the vibrant playfulness of the interior design and furniture.

"The lighting design features exposed lighting fixtures that reference a more utilitarian industrial design [which] does not shy away from illuminating structural elements to celebrate the craft and grit of the overall design," said Lightning Studio.

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
