Lúcid Design Agency has created a modern-day travel backpack.The Shell Backpack is designed to not only save space but to offer a wardrobe system that keeps its contents in order.

The Shell's interior is organised into four modules. The wardrobe cube allows users to remove all the clothes from the backpack at once.

The backpack also has a hanging toiletry bag with Fidlock magnetic attachments for easy access and a tech pouch with compartmentalised organisation.

Finally, the Shell has a padded Camera Cube to protect camera equipment or anything else the wearer might like to stash inside.

Made from weatherproof materials, the backpack features a concealed hip belt and adjustable chest and waist straps for comfort.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (consumer design and wearables) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
