Smeg UK has designed its new oven, the SpeedwaveXL.

Italian appliance brand Smeg combines technology with style with its SpeedwaveXL oven.

Utilising the brand's impressive R&D investment, microwaves have been combined with traditional cooking methods in a contemporary 60-centimetre oven.

Saving up to 40 percent of the time used in traditional cooking and reducing energy usage and space taken up in a kitchen, SpeedwaveXL has been crafted with convenience and style in mind.

"A host of technologies have been introduced to create exquisite results, ranging from functions to perfectly melt and soften food to precise temperature controls," said Smeg UK.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (bathroom and kitchen) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
