Studio Eduardo Aires has designed the new branding for Bolhão Market.

The Mercado do Bolhão is a historical, fresh produce market in Porto, Portugal.

It reopened its doors in September 2022, after a complex and extraordinary rehabilitation project (by architect Nuno Valentim) that brought it back to the heart of the city.

The new brand and signage system developed by Studio Eduardo Aires marks this new moment in the life of the building and the city, considering the market's affiliation to the municipality and associating both identities.

This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
