Shawn Adams
Architect Shawn Adams is the co-founder of London-based design practice POoR Collective.
Adams is also a writer, and lecturer at Central St Martins, UAL and the Architectural Association. He works as the outreach lead at housing specialist company HTA Design LLP and is the co-founder of the socially-minded design studio Power Out of Restriction.
The London-based Architect currently sits on the Advisory Board of Open City’s Accelerate Programme, is a trustee of The Museum of Architecture and is a RIBAJ Rising Star.
He has worked with companies including fashion brand H&M, Swedish furniture retailer IKEA, workspace developer The Office Group,The Royal College of Art and the public-funded South London Gallery.
In 2023 POoR won the Emerging Design Medal at London Design Festival, an annual citywide design event that takes place in September.
