LV Architectes has redesigned La Grange, a second family home in Burgundy, France.
This project is a second home and studio in Burgundy, designed for Erwan Bouroullec and his family.
By understanding the layers of the building, its memories bring with them a new life without erasing its history, revealing and magnifying the quality and beauty of rural architecture.
"We worked more around a direction: the idea was to create a space for both professional and family life for Erwan, connected to nature, open to experimentation and others," said LV Architectes.
As a result, the architects have created a framework in which things can evolve through spaces of freedom, living architecture and nature.
This project has been longlisted in the house renovation category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
