Nemestudio has designed the CS2 House in Denver, United States.

CS2 House is a low-cost, single-family dwelling featuring a circular open plan on the ground level and a triangular shed roof with private rooms above that serve as two distinct volumes.

This interaction fosters multiple spatial configurations and ways of living, making the house feel both familiar and unfamiliar.

Built on a very low budget using standard construction techniques, the design maximises interior use of the shed roof volume while exploring unconventional relationships between sufficiency, construction, living and delight.

Rather than viewing a low budget as just a limitation, the design investigates new sensibilities and the possibilities of sufficiency.

This project has been longlisted in the house urban category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
