Rohe Creative has designed the interiors of Angeloni's Club Madrid, a restaurant and bar in Atlantic City, United States.

In this project, the architects leaned into Atlantic City's "gritty, glamorous past", specifically its 1980s heyday.

As a result, vintage finds were layered with irreverent charm: VCT floors in custom patterns, a glowing red acrylic and chrome horseshoe bar, glitter vinyl booths and a flashy ceiling made from security domes.

In addition, original and historic elements like tin ceilings and mosaic tile were uncovered and celebrated, alongside wood panelled and bronze mirrored walls, a plastic-wrapped floral sofa and a Marantz speaker.

"This is a space that doesn’t take itself too seriously – and that’s the magic," said ROHE Creative.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
