Ministry of Design has designed the interiors of The Standard Singapore, a lifestyle hotel off the bustle of Orchard Road in Singapore.

The Standard is famed for its irreverent and immersive take on hospitality, from its roots in West Hollywood to New York and London, all with the same mid-century modern DNA and quirky sense of humour.

The Standard Singapore, commissioned by Invictus Developments, has botanical tropicality at its heart, where the reception features an oversized terrarium with a tropical ecosystem and the Cafe Standard looks out into a lush stepped garden, ideal for evening cocktails.

The abundant greenery continues through to the Destination Restaurant 'Kaya' where nature playfully takes over the entire space, enveloping guests into the heart of an oasis.

This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
