Adept and Lytt Architecture have designed the Nature Park Amager, while preserving the untouched beauty of the largest protected landscape in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Just minutes from central Copenhagen, Nature Park Amager spans 35 km2 of protected landscape, offering an extraordinary retreat for city dwellers. Adept and Lytt Architecture have redefined the park's experience through a network of carefully placed visitor points that guide visitors while ensuring minimal interference with the untouched nature.
The interventions create a subtle yet powerful dialogue between nature and architecture, enhancing accessibility, encouraging outdoor activity and promoting ecological awareness.
This project strengthens the park's identity by providing human-scaled wayfinding, fostering a deeper connection with nature and ensuring sustainable long-term engagement with one of Copenhagen's most significant landscapes.
This project has been longlisted in the landscape and urban design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
