Calvi Brambilla has designed the Super taps collection for QuadroDesign.

The design of the knob that distinguishes Super comes from a study based on the geometric figure of the super-circle (or squircle), a shape that combines the properties of a square with those of a circle.

The Super project, designed by Calvi Brambilla for QuadroDesign, was born from the client's need to create an innovative taps collection that combines a distinctive aesthetic with high functionality.

The goal was to find the correct shape that would achieve the best ergonomics and thus comfort in the grip of the handle, offering a more generous hand surface than standard circular or square knobs.

The collection is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel, a material chosen for its durability, corrosion resistance and sustainability.

Production takes place in Italy at QuadroDesign's facilities, where the company blends advanced technologies with precision craftsmanship.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (bathroom) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
