Tukas EV has designed HR Bank, a pedal-powered energy system that stores renewable energy, charges devices and powers homes during blackouts.
HR Bank integrates an exercise bike, energy storage and a power generator, crafted from recycled aluminium to suit any interior.
It connects with renewable sources, storing excess energy in its 2kWh battery for later use, powering home appliances in blackouts.
This capacity can charge 20+ laptops, run a fridge for three days, or make up to 150 cups of coffee.
Made from recycled aluminium, HR Bank is durable, easily repairable and customisable with various colours and materials to suit any interior, offering a sustainable energy management solution while promoting physical activity.
This project has been longlisted in the product design (consumer design) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
