Jones + Partners has designed Climb for Modus, a modular shelving system.

Climb is a modular shelving system designed for adaptability, longevity and ease of use. Built from powder-coated steel and oak-veneered shelves, it offers a refined solution for storage, display and space division across workplace and retail environments.

With minimal components, single-tool assembly and considered material use, Climb balances functionality with quiet, architectural presence.

"Climb was developed in collaboration with Modus, who challenged us to design a modular shelving system that felt refined, functional and commercially viable across workplace, retail and residential interiors," said Jones + Partners.

The system is constructed from powder-coated steel frames with shelves made from birch ply, chipboard with an oak veneer finish, with each component designed for efficiency in manufacture and shipping, maximising material yield and minimising waste.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
