Totzke has designed the Origin Collection, a rug series inspired by Indian nature.

The Origin Collection was inspired by the Totzke team's latest trip to India.

"As we travelled around India, we found ourselves continually returning to the richly textured surfaces of the built and natural landscape," said Totzke.

"In particular, we were inspired by the way the passage of time naturally weathered some of India's most stunning architectural monuments."

From there, the design was elevated by utilising natural, undyed yarns and hand carding methods to enhance texture and tonality within the rug.

This project has been longlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
